Getting Beachy with Scents & Feel

Has anyone else been online shopping like a fiend? Amazon and Nordstrom Rack have been my go-to rabbit holes these days. I have so many packages coming in that every time I walk into the lobby of my building, my doorman just busts out laughing. The other day he told me I had better go back to work. He’s right.

But hey, there’s nothing wrong with a little retail therapy, and these goodies from Scents & Feel inspired this Mediterranean tablescape that brought me much joy. Should you want a little joy of your own, use code TABLESALT for 25% through Monday, May 11th. Details and product links below!

Let’s start with the tablecloth. I rarely use tablecloths because I love my wooden dining table, but whenever I do, I’m reminded of how they can really transform a space. Instant laidback, beachy, European vibes, complete with dainty, white fringe on either end. Bonus: it doubles as a beach blanket or throw.

Onto the glassware. These Moroccan tea glasses, with beautiful frosted details, are perfect for juice or water. They come in an array of colors and patterns that would all mix and match nicely should you want to combine sets.

If you follow me on Instagram, you see a lot of olive wood. I can’t get enough of it. This tapas dish is great for bread, crackers or cheese, and the smaller one (pictured below) works well for nuts or grapes. Here, I styled them with mandarin oranges for little non-floral centerpieces, perfect for a casual brunch or lunch.

Finally the napkins. These are actually called Fouta Towels, and there is a plethora to choose from. I think I have about 16 of them now, and I use them as napkins, hand towels, kitchen towels – you name it. So versatile, and complete with more fringe!

I styled all of these with basics from my collection, including a singular hurricane candle and two vintage bud vases. With an informal setting like this, I like to keep the decor to a minimum. A couple of simple pieces are just enough! Happy shopping!
